If I had a signature cocktail, it would be a Dirty Martini. This classic drink can be made in many different ways (gin, vodka, up, on the rocks, etc.) and I have mastered my favorite way to make this drink. Pro-tip, teach your significant other how to make it just the way that you like it & you’ll never have to make it for yourself again! Olive brine can really change the flavor of this cocktail depending on the brand so try out a few before you knock it! My favorite is Mezzetta olives, Filthy & Stirrings.
What you need
3oz Gin (I prefer Tanqueray or Rieger)
1-1.5oz olive brine (my favorite is straight out of the olive jar)
Splash of vermouth
Ice
How to make
Chill the martini glass in the freezer while preparing. Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake. Shake well. Let the shaker sit for about 1 minute before pouring it into a chilled glass. Garnish with your favorite olives.
***hand stuffing Spanish queen olive with a piece of blue cheese is a GAME CHANGER. Mix a crumbling blue cheese with a dash of gin and pipe into the middle of the olive.
Enjoy!
